Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Paweey, including Paweey.com, related web app features, reminders, pet care records, documents, support, billing, and any future mobile app experience we provide.

By creating an account or using Paweey, you agree to these Terms. If you use Paweey for a family, household, or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to manage that account and invite other users.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for accurate account information, password security, invited caregiver access, and activity under your account.

Owners control account settings, billing, data export, deletion requests, caregiver access, and pet records. Caregivers receive limited access based on what the Owner assigns.

Paweey helps you organize pet routines, records, reminders, caregivers, notes, photos, documents, and Passport-style information. You are responsible for checking that all pet information is accurate, current, lawful, and appropriate to share.

Blank fields, outdated records, failed reminders, inaccurate uploads, missed notifications, or incorrect user entries may affect care decisions. Always confirm important pet care information directly with the responsible owner, caregiver, veterinarian, clinic, boarding facility, or emergency contact.

Paweey is not a veterinarian, animal hospital, emergency response provider, poison-control service, insurer, broker, or substitute for professional veterinary advice.

Information, summaries, reminders, document reading, AI-assisted extraction, care notes, Passport records, and notifications are organizational tools only. For medical, behavioral, dietary, safety, or emergency questions, contact a licensed veterinarian or qualified professional immediately.

Reminders, push notifications, email, and any future messaging channel are convenience features. Delivery may fail, arrive late, be blocked by a device, browser, email provider, app store, internet connection, user settings, or third-party service.

Messaging channels such as WhatsApp, SMS, email, or push may be subject to fair-use limits, anti-spam rules, provider policies, phone-number rules, and abuse controls. We may delay, limit, block, or suspend messaging that appears excessive, automated in an abusive way, unlawful, misleading, unpaid, or harmful to service reliability.

You remain responsible for pet care tasks even if Paweey does not send, receive, display, or process a reminder.

Paid plans, when enabled, are billed through Stripe or another payment processor shown at checkout. Prices, plan limits, features, taxes, currencies, and billing periods are shown before purchase and may change for future billing periods.

Unless required by law or expressly stated in a separate written offer, paid subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel according to the cancellation process available in the billing portal. Paid access generally continues through the end of the current paid billing period.

You are responsible for payment details, applicable taxes, chargebacks, failed payments, currency conversion, bank fees, and any accounting records needed for your own tax or compliance obligations.

You may not use Paweey to violate laws, infringe rights, harass others, upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload the service, misrepresent identity, abuse support, bypass plan limits, or store unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.

You may not rely on Paweey for high-risk, life-critical, or emergency-only use where failure could cause injury, death, property loss, or regulatory violation.

You keep ownership of the pet information, notes, photos, documents, and other content you provide. You grant Paweey permission to host, process, transmit, back up, analyze, display, and format that content so we can provide the service.

You confirm you have the right to upload and share any content you submit, including pet photos, veterinary documents, caregiver information, contact details, and household data.

Paweey may use third-party providers such as hosting, database, authentication, email, storage, analytics, payment, tax, support, document processing, or messaging providers. Their systems and terms may also apply to your use.

We are not responsible for third-party downtime, errors, delays, fees, policy changes, data processing failures, or account restrictions outside our control.

Paweey may be updated, interrupted, restricted, suspended, or discontinued. Beta features may change quickly. We may add, remove, rename, limit, or redesign features as the product evolves.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, remain unpaid, abuse the service, or require us to comply with law, security obligations, payment-provider rules, or platform policies.

Paweey is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted service, data accuracy, reminder delivery, and error-free operation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paweey is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, lost-profit, lost-data, pet-care, veterinary, operational, accounting, compliance, tax, or business interruption damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Paweey in the three months before the claim or USD 100.

You agree to defend and indemnify Paweey from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, account activity, violation of these Terms, misuse of the service, pet care decisions, invited user activity, or violation of law or third-party rights.

Unless a mandatory law says otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state selected by Paweey before public launch, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@paweey.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
